Carolina For The Kids is the largest student-run nonprofit organization in North Carolina. Every donation helps fund what medical insurance cannot cover for pediatric patients and their families at UNC Children’s Hospital, including meals, travel, and essential support. Together, our community can make a real difference!
The mission of the Carolina For The Kids Foundation is to provide major emotional, medical, and financial support for the patients and families served by UNC Children's Hospital. Since 1997, Carolina For The Kids has raised over $7 million for the patients and families of the UNC Children's Hospital. Donations help cover a variety of things ranging from meals for parents staying with their children, to play spaces and hospital renovations, and even research grants.
2026 Dance Marathon
UNC Dance Marathon is a 12 hour no sitting, no sleeping event held annually on UNC-Chapel Hill's campus.
This is our biggest fundraising event of the year in support for the families and patients at UNC Children's Hospital!
We are so excited for the year ahead and can't wait to share our 2026 Dance Marathon Theme!
