Carolina For The Kids serving dinner to families at the North Carolina Children’s Hospital
Several times throughout the 2017 UNC Dance Marathon, Carolina For The Kids will take the time to Pause For The Cause. The event’s first Pause For The Cause is on Parent’s Night Out, or PNO.
With PNO, Carolina For The Kids serves dinner each week to families at the North Carolina Children’s Hospital. The meals are always free and prepared by N.C. Hospitals Dining Services and are sponsored by Coastal Federal Credit Union.
Last year CFTK served 18,720 meals during Parent’s Night Out. “Every time I’ve done PNO, the families that we see are immensely grateful and appreciative,” Vicky Hamby, morale captain and four-year dancer said. “It’s a great reminder of how even the little things can mean so much.”
